Dufferin Motors & Tires

Dufferin Motors & Tires is a family tire dealer and tire service centre at 2325 St. Clair Avenue West, in the Junction area of Toronto. The business was established in 1947 as a small service centre on Dufferin Street at Glencairn Avenue, offering full mechanical work. In 1980 second-generation owner George Atanas decided to focus on retail and wholesale tires, and in 2002 the shop moved to its larger St. Clair location, which lets it service more vehicles, stock more products and offer on-site tire storage. Andrew Gorman represents the third generation of the family in the business.

The shop sells passenger and industrial tires at competitive prices, with brands such as MICHELIN, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal, and the staff are MICHELIN-trained and certified. Services include computer spin and road force balancing, tire rotations, flat tire repairs, low-profile tire installations and TPMS adjustments, along with wheels, wholesale tires and service for national accounts. Customers from Toronto, York, Etobicoke and surrounding areas can book appointments online.

The business sponsors local soccer leagues, charities and schools, and offers extended hours during peak seasons. Regular hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.
