Furusato Japanese Restaurant

Furusato Japanese Restaurant is a Japanese and Korean restaurant on Ring Road Parklands, on the Westlands side of Parklands. It opened on 1 May 2001 near Sarit Centre, and its name means "hometown", chosen because the founders wanted dishes that bring back a feeling of comfort and nostalgia.

The restaurant says its kitchen was first led by Nairobi's first female sushi chef. Today it works with 31 chefs and 19 servers and offers more than 100 dishes, covering sushi and other Japanese classics alongside Korean cuisine. Its stated promise is consistency and freshness: recipes that have been refined over more than two decades and served the same way on every visit. Vegetarian options, beer and wine are available.

Furusato is open every day from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM, according to its official website. Guests can dine in, take food away or order delivery, and reservations can be made online. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
