Pop's Diner

Pop's Diner is a 24-hour All-American diner at Mwanzi Market on Mwanzi Road in Westlands, Nairobi. It is open all day, every day, and calls itself Nairobi's first 24-hour traditional American diner. It does not take reservations, so guests just walk in.

The menu is built on classic diner comfort food. Burgers and milkshakes are the headline items, and the kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night meals around the clock. Beer and wine are available, and there is both dine-in and takeaway.

The look draws on 1950s American diners, and the owners say they want to bring back that era's sense of community, optimism and fun. At the same time, Pop's describes itself as a sustainable, fast-casual restaurant that encourages conscious dining, one that honours the past while caring for the future.

Because it never closes, Pop's suits late-night meals after an evening out in Westlands as well as very early breakfasts. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
