Rising Minds Learning

Rising Minds Learning is a Pensacola tutoring and education-support service for families with children from kindergarten through 12th grade. It runs a learning centre at 101 East Garden Street, open by appointment, and tutors students one-to-one at home, online or at the centre.

Tutoring can focus on a short-term goal, such as preparing for quizzes, tests, projects and standardised exams, or on longer-term progress, such as raising grades in a particular subject or building organisation and focus. Small-group learning is available too, and seasonal classes run in the autumn. The company's approach rests on three principles it calls clarity, customisation and care: getting to know each student, adapting methods to how that child learns, and celebrating progress along the way.

Parents can also get support for themselves through a service called Grownup Support. Staff help families work through the school system when a child has a learning challenge, including planning IEP goals and attending IEP meetings with them. Homeschooling families can get curriculum guidance. Rising Minds also partners with nonprofits and employers that want to offer tutoring to the families they support.

Current clients manage sessions through a TutorBird login. East Garden Street is in the downtown core, close to the Palafox corridor. To start, call or text 850-332-3338 or use the Get Started form on risingmindslearning.com.
