Tamarind Mombasa

Tamarind Mombasa is a fine seafood restaurant on Cement Silo Road in Nyali, set on a starlit terrace on a cliff overlooking Mombasa's historic Old Harbour and Old Town. Created in the 1970s by Kenyan-born Chris Seex, the elegant white building with high arches recalls a bygone Arab era. The menu focuses on fresh seafood and international cuisine, and the restaurant caters for large groups, corporate dinners and cocktail parties, with a private dining room for up to 25 guests and a lawn for cocktail receptions.
