TBS Comics

TBS Comics is a comic book and games store at 6895 North 9th Avenue in Pensacola, part of a local chain that has served Northwest Florida since 1985. It bills itself as the complete comic book store experience of the Emerald Coast, with a second store at 550 Mary Esther Boulevard in Fort Walton Beach.

The Pensacola store stocks what it describes as the largest selection in the area of comics, collectibles, card games and board games. Weekly new releases are listed on the website, and the store takes part in Free Comic Book Day each year.

Gaming is a big part of the business. TBS Comics carries Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Gundam, Warhammer 40k and Dungeons & Dragons products, and it runs Friday Night Magic and other events for local players, with Facebook groups for each community. It also buys collections, so customers can sell comics and collectibles they no longer want.

Customers who cannot visit can shop online through the store's Shopify site, and the blog covers news such as the Pokémon Trading Card Game's 30th anniversary.
