The Kennedy

The Kennedy is a cocktail bar at 1 South Palafox Place in downtown Pensacola, built around mid-century style and classic cocktails given a modern twist. It opens at 4:00 PM every day, closing at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and staying open late on Friday and Saturday nights.

Classic cocktails are the centre of the menu, and the bar describes its bartenders as knowledgeable mixologists who create thoughtful, carefully crafted drinks for an innovative tasting experience. The look of the room deliberately mixes the nostalgia of the mid-century era with a contemporary feel, making it a popular stop for a pre-dinner drink, a date night or an evening out on Palafox.

The bar was founded by owner Katie Garrett, and Conor Wahl manages day-to-day operations. Its sister bar, Old Hickory Whiskey Bar, is a few blocks south at 123 South Palafox Place.

Its spot at the top of South Palafox puts it within walking distance of Plaza Ferdinand, the Saenger Theatre and the downtown waterfront.
