Moffam Electricals

Moffam Electricals is an electrical, solar and security contractor based at Westlands Commercial Centre, and it also runs an online shop. Its customers include homeowners, shops, offices and warehouses throughout Kenya.

The electrical side of the business covers wiring, structured cabling and electrical design, as well as fault finding and emergency repairs when the power fails. In the security category, the team installs CCTV cameras, access control, electric fences, intruder and burglar alarms, video door phones and intercoms, and automatic gate systems. Its solar work includes complete solar installations, solar power backup for blackouts and solar-powered water pumps. It also installs electric and solar water heaters.

The web shop lists more than two hundred products. These include instant showers suited to salty or borehole water, pressurised boilers, replacement heating elements, booster pumps, lithium battery kits, inverters, panels, street and flood lights, sub-meters and air conditioners. Most items can be ordered through WhatsApp, and the company can fit what it sells.

Moffam says it is registered with EPRA, the national energy regulator. Its Westlands location makes it handy for Parklands, Kileleshwa and Spring Valley, and the team also travels to projects elsewhere in the country.
